BRIDGEPORT, W.Va. — The West Virginia State versus West Virginia Wesleyan women’s basketball game scheduled to be played today, Jan. 8th, has been postponed due to COVID-19 protocols being invoked.

The Mountain East Conference will advise at a future time whether or not this game will be rescheduled or declared a no-contest.

Wesleyan also had their home game this past Wednesday with Charleston postponed.

The Lady ‘Cats (2-6) haven’t played a game since a 58-51 home loss to Notre Dame College on Dec. 11
