Lacrosse Lady Bucs cruise to a 21-0 win over Harrison County

TENNERTON – Miranda Greene tallied 11 goals to help lead the Buckhannon-Upshur Lady Buc lacrosse team to a convincing 21-0 victory over the visiting Harrison County Bruins Wednesday night.

The Lady Bucs, who improved to 3-0 on the year, have outscored their three opponents by a 71-2 margin.

Buckhannon-Upshur raced out to a 15-0 lead at the break and tacked on six more goals in the second half for their 21 goal win.

Kendall Defibaugh added three goals for the Lady Bucs while Hannah Walton and Kierra Arbogast each had two.

Greene and Walton each had two assists while Arbogast collected one.

Gaidian Adams led the team in ground balls with seven.

Haylea Crihfield made three saves in the shutout win for the Lady Bucs.

Buckhannon-Upshur will be back on the field Tuesday at Morgantown.

The contest will start at 7:30 p.m.

Charles Allen, 93, of Buckhannon, died April 11, 2026, at Holbrook Healthcare Center following an extended illness. He was a U.S. Army veteran and retired from Western Union and the railroad.
