JV Lady Bucs fall to Parkersburg South in two quarters of action, 18-8

PARKERSBURG – Because of low numbers, the Parkersburg South Patriots requested to play just two quarters against the Buckhannon-Upshur junior varsity Lady Bucs Saturday evening, even though the Lady Bucs had one less player.

The Lady Bucs had just five on the roster while Parkersburg South had six as the Patriots defeated B-U by an 18-8 score.

After the first quarter, the Lady Bucs trailed by an 8-4 margin with Kylie Hull having all four points.

The second quarter went to Parkersburg South by a 10-4 margin as Makenzie Egress and Taylor Feather each had a basket for the Lady Bucs.

Tae Richards and Addison White led Parkersburg South with five points while Hull had a team-high four points for the Lady Bucs.

The loss dropped B-U to 0-15.

The Lady Bucs will wrap up their season Wednesday when they host Morgantown at 5:45 p.m.
