JV Lady Bucs drop home opener to Lewis County

TENNERTON – The Buckhannon-Upshur junior varsity Lady Bucs fell behind early and were never able to catch up to the Lewis County Minutemaids in their Thursday evening contest, dropping a 55-13 decision.

Brooklyn Smith led the JV Lady Bucs with six points while Olivia Shipley had four.

Emily Talbert led Lewis County with 19 points.

The JV Lady Bucs, now 0-2, will return to action Tuesday at Lincoln.

Tip-off is scheduled for 5:45 p.m.
