Judith ‘Judy’ Lynn Stalnaker

Judith “Judy” Lynn Stalnaker, age 47, a resident of Buckhannon, West Virginia, passed away from this life at her home, on Wednesday, May 17, 2023. Her death was sudden and unexpected.

She was born on August 17, 1975, in Buckhannon, a daughter to Vernon Ray Smith and Adelia Rose (Dean) Smith who survive in Buckhannon.

Judy leaves behind her fiancé, Bryan Kittle of Belington, daughters; Megan Houston, and husband Tim, Carly Stalnaker, one son; Andrew Stalnaker all of Buckhannon, brothers; Eric Scott Smith, and Daniel Lee Smith, and wife Rhonda. Several aunts, uncles, nieces, cousins, and her dog Harley.

She was preceded in death by two sisters: Penny Rae Husky, and Mary Anne Bender, her maternal and paternal grandparents.

Judy was a Christian by faith she was a faithful member of the Buckhannon Church of Christ. She graduated with the class of 1993 from Buckhannon-Upshur High School, and currently Judy was Assistant Manager at Dollar General in Buckhannon. She loved riding motorcycles with Bryan, gardening, spending time with her kids, shopping, and yard sales. She is going to be missed by all those that knew and loved her.

A gathering of family and friends will be held at the Kittle Family Funeral Home, 265 Beech Ave., Philippi on Monday, May 22, 2023, from 3pm until 8 pm, and again Tuesday, May 23, 2023, from 9 am until 2 pm. A funeral service will be conducted at 2 pm from the funeral home chapel with speaker Randal Roy officiating and interment will follow in the Upshur Memorial Park in Tennerton.
