Judith Elaine Beighley

Judith Elaine Beighley, age 80, of Buckhannon, WV, died Sunday, July 2, 2023, at her home.

She was born July 13, 1942, in Buckhannon, a daughter of the late Welton Scott and Edith Juanita Cottrill Gower. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, David C. Beighley, Jr. 

She is survived by one son, Chris Beighley and wife Kristin of Jacksonville, FL; three brothers, Norman Gower of Buckhannon, Bob Gower and wife Gloria of Trinity, NC and Michael Gower of Buckhannon; one granddaughter, Marissa Beighley of Jacksonville; several nieces, nephews and cousins and special cousin, Veneda Gower and husband Ed of Buckhannon.

Mrs. Beighley was a cashier for Foodland. A member of the Mt. Lebanon Church of Buckhannon. She loved cooking, gardening, painting and being with her family. The family would like to give a special thank you to the Hospice Staff and Stephanie and Joe Gower.

Friends will be received Thursday, July 6, 2023, from 6 PM to 8 PM at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held 1 PM Friday at Mt. Lebanon Church. Burial will follow in the Mt. Lebanon Church Cemetery in Buckhannon.
