Jared Franklin Hall

Jared Franklin Hall, 30, of Webster Springs, departed this life on Saturday, April 13, 2024.

He was born May 19, 1993, to Tina and Mike Hall, who survive. Jared graduated from Webster County High School class of 2011, WV Wesleyan College class of 2015, and Liberty University. He was a member of 4-H, the high school band, and Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia. Jared was a member of the Craigsville Baptist Church. He loved to play music, traveling abroad, and outdoor activities.

At the time of his death, Jared was a teacher at the Buckhannon Academy Elementary School in Buckhannon. He previously worked at Eagle School in Martinsburg and St. Patrick’s School in Weston.

In addition to his parents, Jared is survived by his sister, Courtney Hall, and his nephew, Aiden Hall of Buckhannon; grandmother and step grandfather: Phyllis and Raymond McCartney of Adrian; great aunt, Patricia Curtis of Crawford; 19 aunts and uncles; many extended family members and friends; and best friend, Mike Schartiger. He was preceded in death by grandparents: Franklin Hall, Galen and Jerry Gilmore, and Junior Plaugher.

Family and friends will gather for Visitation at WV Wesleyan College – Wesley Chapel located at 59 College Ave. in Buckhannon from 12:30-3:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 18, 2024. Funeral Services will begin at 3:30 p.m. with Reverend Brandon Moll officiating. Following services, Jared’s request for Cremation will be honored. Inurnment will take place at Hall Cemetery in Walkersville at a later date.
