CAC Gallery exhibiting Upshur County youth artwork through April 11

The Colonial Arts Center Gallery’s annual Upshur County Youth Arts Exhibition is open now through Saturday, April 11, showcasing multi-media work from local students of all grade levels.

The exhibition includes artwork from students at Buckhannon Academy Elementary School through Buckhannon-Upshur High School. A public reception is planned for Friday, April 10, from 4 to 7 p.m., where local artist J.R. Earls will offer free caricatures and light refreshments will be served.

The public is invited to vote for their favorite artworks on display. People’s Choice Award winners will be announced Monday, April 6.

The CAC Gallery is located at 48 East Main Street in downtown Buckhannon. Gallery hours are Fridays and Saturdays from 4 to 8 p.m., or by appointment. All gallery events are free and open to the public.
