InfraGard WV Presents: FBI Active Shooter Training & Developing a Crisis Response Plan/Training

Location: Buckhannon Public Safety Complex Community and Training Room, 24 S. Florida Street, Buckhannon, WV, 26201.

An active shooter is an individual actively engaged in killing or attempting to kill people in a populated area, and recent active shooter incidents have underscored the need for a coordinated response by law enforcement and others to save lives. The FBI is committed to working with its partners to protect schools, workplaces, houses of worship, transportation centers, other public gathering sites, and communities. This training is an opportunity for industry partners in our region to learn about active shooters, and what the FBI has to offer in terms of capacity, expertise, specialized capabilities, training, and resources before and after an incident occurs.

Presenters include SA Gregg Frankhouser- 17 yrs FBI experience working violent crime and numerous years on SWAT team, and SSA Rob Ambrosini- Doctorate in Psychology, FBI polygrapher, and Behavioral Analysis Unit point of contact for Pittsburgh Division.

This free event will be presented at the Public Safety Complex Community & Training Room located at 24 South Florida Street, Buckhannon, West Virginia, in cooperation with the City of Buckhannon Police Department.
