Increased purses, fireworks and action at Elkins Raceway Saturday night

KERENS – Increased purses for all racing classes and an exceptional firework display caught the eye of many racing fans Saturday night. All eyes were on super late model class drivers for a $3,000 pay day at stake during the Richard Skidmore Memorial races at Elkins Raceway on June 25.

Competition was fierce this weekend with many drivers ready to bring home a new, shiny trophy and nice paycheck. The first place winners from the mini wedge divisions were presented a large trophy for their efforts. Drivers in first, second and third places for all other classes were also presented with trophies after their hard-fought win.

Saturday’s feature race winners are as follows:
