Obituary Hobert Unrue

Hobert Ray Unrue, Sr., 77, of Buckhannon, died on Friday, September 3, 2021, at the J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown.  He was born on May 20, 1944, in Charleston, W.Va. a son of the late Cecil Delbert and Ada Smith Unrue. 

He was united in marriage on May 20, 1984, to Carolyn Keener Unrue who survives.  He is also survived by three children, six grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Mr. Unrue was retired from the WV Department of Highways Equipment Division and he was a member of the Hampton United Methodist Church.

Graveside services and interment will be held on Tuesday, September 7, 2021, at 2p.m. at the Hampton Cemetery with Pastor Mike Hinkle officiating. The family has requested if attending services wearing masks would be appreciated.
