TENNERTON – Following last week’s rain out that wiped out play, action resumed in the 2023 Buckhannon Country Club Bob Cupp Memorial Golf League this past Wednesday and the league has a new leader this week.
Highland Landscaping overtook the lead from Custom Cabinets with a 20-20 tie against Hank Ellis Insurance.
That is because Custom Cabinets dipped to second place with a 23-17 loss to Sealcoat Concepts.
Despite a 20 ½-19 ½ loss to First Community Bank, High Point Construction remained in third place this week.
Feola’s Flowers stayed in fourth place this week with a 22 ½-17 ½ win over Sam’s Pizza.
The other action of the week saw Lisa Cain Edward Jones down Baker Tilly by a 27-13 score.
Kenny Tenney of Baker Tilly brought home Low Actual honors with a 38 while Brian McDaniels of Lisa Cain Edward Jones and Roger Abel of First Community Bank earned Low Net honors with identical 32s.
