Highland Landscaping continues to roll in Bob Cupp Memorial Golf League

Highland Landscaping extended its lead in the Bob Cupp Memorial Golf League to 13½ points after a 22-18 win over Hank Ellis Insurance, while Lisa Cain Edward Jones moved into third place in the standings.

TENNERTON – Highland Landscaping continues to roll in the early part of the Buckhannon Country Club Bob Cupp Memorial Golf League.

Going into week three, they held a 10-point lead in the standings and they widened that lead to 13 ½ points after beating Hank Ellis Insurance by a 22-18 score. They now have 80 points.

High Point Construction remains a distant second with 66 ½ points after falling to Lisa Cain Edward Jones by a 21 ½-18 ½ count. Lisa Cain Edward Jones moved up two spots to third place with the win with 64 points.

Sam’s Pizza dropped one spot to fourth after losing a 22 ½-17 ½ contest to Custom Cabinets as they have 61 1/2 points.

In the other match of the week, Feola’s Flowers defeated First Community Bank by a 25-15 score.

Stephen Jeran and John Mathias of Custom Cabinets and Jimmy Dean of Hank Ellis Insurance all won weekly Low Actual honors with 40s while Lane Tenney of First Community Bank, J.D Curry of Sam’s Pizza, Brian Gaudet of Highland Landscaping and Paul Dibiccari of Lisa Cain Edward Jones all tied for Low Net honors with 36s.
