Hank Ellis Insurance wins fourth-quarter title in Bob Cupp Memorial Golf League

TENNERTON – With Sealcoat Concepts and Hank Ellis Insurance tied for first place heading into the final week of the fourth quarter, it was Hank Ellis Insurance that came away with the fourth-quarter title.

Hank Ellis Insurance won the last quarter title after a 22 ½-17 ½ victory over First Community Bank while Sealcoat Concepts downed Baker Tilly, but only by a 19 ½-17 ½ margin.

Lisa Cain Edward Jones caught Sealcoat Concepts in a tie for second place after a 23 ½-16 ½ win over High Point Construction while Feola’s Flowers finished fourth after a 21 ½-18 ½ victory over Custom Cabinets.

In the other match of the week, it was Highland Landscaping earning a 21 ½-18 ½ win over Sam’s Pizza.

Hank Ellis Insurance will now face Sam’s Pizza in a semi-final match with the winner moving onto the championship to square off against High Point Construction.

Kenney Tenney of Baker Tilly earned Low Actual honors with  a 35 while David Powers of Hank Ellis Insurance brought home Low Net honors with a 31.
