GLENVILLE, WV – Several members of a Glenville State College sorority recently visited the Ritchie County Humane Society as part of a community service outing.

Members of the Chi Zeta Pi sorority traveled to the humane society in Harrisville, West Virginia to interact with animals awaiting adoption, clean, stock supplies, and more.

The sisters who attended included President Kimmy Little, Vice President Dezarae Detamore, Secretary Kayla Hall, Treasurer Raeann Sickles, Historian Miranda Hinkle, Parliamentarian Macy Rush, Highest Scroll Brooke Spencer, and members Faith Norris and Christina Frazier.

“Everyone’s favorite part of our visit was spending time with the cats and dogs at the humane society and sharing this experience together as a sisterhood,” said Little. “We do focus on the empowerment of women and the welfare of children within our organization, but we hope that this type of community service will inspire others to add a pet to their family or just volunteer their time with the animals as well.”
