Gleneva Mae “Marty” Clutter, 84, of Buckhannon, died Saturday, March 28, 2020, at Holbrook Healthcare Center in Buckhannon. 

She was born on May 6, 1935, in Buckhannon, a daughter of the late William E. Sparks and Pearl Snyder Sparks Tenney. 

She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Clarence E. “Red” “Runt” Clutter.  Also surviving are two daughters: Carol Burr Potts of Buckhannon and Marilyn Burr Lancaster of Wirtz, Va.; one sister Shirley Bailey of Buckhannon; one brother Ronald Tenney of Buckhannon; and several nieces and nephews. 

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by one son Timothy Clutter; one sister Elenetta Hamrick; and two brothers:  Edward and William Sparks. 

Mrs. Clutter was employed by Acme Bookstore and Walkers Shoe Store for many years.

At the request of the deceased, her body will be cremated.  Private interment will be held at a later date at the Buckhannon Memorial Park.
