Franklin Joe “Frankie” Burr

Franklin Joe “Frankie” Burr, 81, of the Natural Bridge Road, French Creek, died Wednesday, May 22, 2019, at St. Francis Hospital in Charleston, W.Va. 

He was born March 23, 1938, at French Creek, a son of the late Edward and Mable Smith Burr. 

He is survived by the love of his life Katherine Brady Burr; one daughter Misty Burr; one grandson Lucas Burr; five sisters:  Faye Black of French Creek, Helen Heater of Buckhannon, Jennie Reed of French Creek, Sue Isabella of Ohio, and Imogene Donley of Ohio; and numerous nieces and nephews. 

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by one son Randall Burr; four brothers:  Robert, Tony, Richard, and Junior Burr; and four sisters:  Mary, Martha, Geraldine, and JoAnn.

Frankie will be remembered as a loving father, husband, grandpa, brother, and uncle who loved his family dearly and will be missed by all. 

The family will receive friends on Saturday, May 25, 2019, from noon to 1 p.m., the funeral hour, with the Rev. Wease Day officiating.  Interment will follow in the Laurel Fork Cemetery.
