Flossie Small, 82, of Buckhannon, W.Va., died Sunday, February 6, 2022, at her home.
She was born January 29, 1940, in Buckhannon, a daughter of the late Valley and Coachie Boswell Small. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by five brothers, infants Harry and Buddy, Josh, Richard “PeeWee” and Marsh Small.
She is survived by one brother, Dick Small and wife Mary of Buckhannon; two sisters, Stella Fortney of Statesville, NC and Annie Rigby of Buckhannon; one sister-in-law, Bertha Small and several nieces and nephews.
Flossie was a homemaker who loved her family. She dedicated her life to taking care of her mother. Flossie loved visiting her family in North Carolina. She had a special bond with her niece Jamie and family: Laura, Roscoe III, James “Junebug”, Harlan and Joey. Flossie will be sadly missed by her family and all who knew her.
