Five B-U Camera Club photos are featured in 2019 Roadsides in Bloom calendar

Nearly half the photos in a statewide 2019 calendar were taken by members of a local photography club.

Five members of the Buckhannon-Upshur Camera Club had photos selected to appear in the 2019 W.Va. DEP’s Roadsides in Bloom Calendar. Members learn their photography skills from presentations at meetings, camera club trips and self-study.

The club decided two years ago to encourage members to apply for the calendar contest, and this is quite a successful outcome, with five of the 12 slots statewide taken by club photographers. Winning BUCC photographers were Kilsong Cox of Elkins, Charmagne Vecchio of Lumberport, and Sandra Miller, Karl Boone and Al Tucker of Buckhannon.
