FAIRMONT — Over 1,000 students have been honored for their academic achievement at Fairmont State University — including 18 from Upshur County — after completing the Fall 2023 semester, according to an FSU press release.
Full-time students achieving a perfect 4.0 grade point average are named to the President’s List, while full-time students who earned a 3.4 or better grade point average are named to the Dean’s List.
President Mike Davis and Provost and Vice President of Academic Affairs Diana Phillips released the President’s List and the Dean’s List to recognize high-achieving students for their academic distinction.
Those who qualified for the President’s List from Upshur County include Bailey Carpenter, Katina Jones, Rylee Vinson, Reagan Knabenshue, Sheridan Phillips, Titus Swan and Michael Tustin. Students from Upshur County who made the Dean’s List are Danielle Bond, Alicia Chambers, Mary Fisher, Carter Glover, Caleb Vernon, Kaitlyn Hollen, Mason Hyre, Isaac Stankus, Abigail Vincent, Abby Ware and Cameron Ware.
