Trick-or-treating in Buckhannon and Upshur County runs from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, October 31.
Buckhannon City Council set the city’s hours at its August 21 meeting. “We wanted to get the news out early this year and let everyone know trick-or-treating will be Oct. 31, which is a Saturday this year,” Mayor Robbie Skinner said. “That will be from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., which usually lines up just fine with the Upshur County schedule.”
The Upshur County Commission voted August 27 to match the city’s schedule.
