Ellen Rae Beckner

Ellen Rae Beckner, 64, of Buckhannon, W.Va., died Wednesday, November 24, 2021, at J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, W.Va.

She was born November 14, 1957, in Clarksburg, W.Va., a daughter of the late Junior Allen and Lora Victoria Radcliff Nutter.

She is survived by her husband, David Beckner of Buckhannon; one daughter, Lora Small and husband Herl of Buckhannon; one son, David Wayne Beckner and wife Traci of Pocahontas County, W.Va.; seven granddaughters; four grandsons; nine great-grandchildren; one sister, Elma Rose Queen and husband Vaden of Buckhannon; one brother, Billy Joe Nutter and wife Melody of Johnstown, W.Va. and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Betty June Carpenter and one brother, Wayne Allen Nutter.

Mrs. Beckner was a homemaker, and she attended The Way of Holiness Church of Buckhannon.

Friends will be received Wednesday, December 1, 2021, from 11 AM until 1 PM at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held 1 PM Wednesday at the funeral home with Pastor Frank Howard and Pastor Jerry Murrell officiating. Burial will follow in the Pleasant View Church Cemetery in Hodgesville, W.Va.
