BUCKHANNON — The Mountain Region Drug and Violent Crimes Task Force arrested 10 individuals this week on 16 drug-related charges, according to a press release issued by the Upshur County Sheriff’s Office Friday afternoon.

According to the release, on Friday, May 05, 2023, members of the Mountain Region Drug and Violent Crimes Task Force, along with Sheriff Mike Coffman, deputies from Upshur County Sheriff’s Office and Sgt. Rich of Buckhannon detachment of W.Va. State Police, served 16 warrants on 10 people from a lengthy investigation for distribution of narcotics.

The release states that all arrests were made without incident, and one search warrant was obtained and a small amount of narcotics were located.

According to the release, the following individuals were charged: Emily Nolan, Danny Tenney Jr., Kevin Cline, Corey Bender, Greg Tenney, David Payne, Brian Shaw, James Breedon, Thad Marsh and Allen Wolford.
