Dotty Lou Gillum Ware

Dotty Lou Gillum Ware, 74, of Buckhannon, WV went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, September 21, 2021, at St. Joseph’s Hospital of Buckhannon, WV. 

Dotty was born June 13, 1947, a daughter of the late Harley B. Gillum and Ressie Gillum of Adrian.  In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by two sisters:  Juanita Kline and Wanda McCartney; and one son, Thomas Ware of Buckhannon.  She will be missed and loved by her two surviving children:  Mason B. Ware and wife Hazel of Buckhannon and Lesia Small and husband Elvis; her 12 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; as well as her two brothers, James Gillum of Stafford, VA and Keith Gillum and wife LeVera of Buckhannon.  She will also be missed by her little dog, Baby.

Dotty was a wonderful Christian woman as well as a mother and grandmother figure to many.

Private graveside services and interment will be held on Monday, September 27, 2021, at the Upshur County Memorial Park.  Pastor Dennis Estes will officiate.
