Dorotha “Dottie” Bosley

Dorotha “Dottie” Bosley, 73, of Rock Cave, W.Va., died Monday, February 24, 2020 in Rock Cave.

She was born May 14, 1946 in Buckhannon, W.Va., a daughter of the late Clark and Tressie Samples Allman.

On June 19, 1971, she married Gail Bosley who survives of Rock Cave.

Also surviving are one son, Nick Bosley and wife Shannon of Rock Cave; one grandson, Ty Bosley of Rock Cave; two brothers, Okey Allman of DeGraff, Ohio and Dale Allman and wife Charlotte of Huntington, WV; several nieces and nephews and special friends, Sis, Patty and Melissa. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one son, Jeffery Bosley; four brothers, Charles, John, David and Robert Allman and one sister, Caryl Jean Hissam.

Mrs. Bosley was a member of the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church and a school teacher. She was a member of the Central Lions Club, Rock Cave Station 4 Fire Department and the Southern Upshur Business Members. She loved going to school and reading to the kindergartners.

Friends will be received Saturday, February 29, 2020 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. In honoring Mrs. Bosley’s wishes she will be cremated after the visitation.
