BUCKHANNON — The West Virginia Wesleyan women outlasted Bloomsburg University 6-1 in a tightly contested set of matches, Saturday, that saw three singles matchups going the distance.
The contest, played on Wesleyan’s new Wood Street Tennis Courts, was a rescheduled event originally set to be played away on Tuesday, Mar. 10 but rescheduled due to forecasted inclement weather.

The Bobcat men’s tennis team rolled through its first home match of the new year, defeating Bloomsburg University 4-0. Wesleyan clinched the contest with the first four matches, leaving three matches unfinished.
The men jumped another 10 spots in the Top 50 of the Intercollegiate Tennis Association’s (ITA) national rankings. The men are now ranked No. 29.
