Doris Ruth Orsburn, 88, of Buckhannon, W.Va., died Wednesday, February 10, 2021 at the United Hospital Center in Bridgeport, W.Va.

She was born August 17, 1932, in Upshur County, W.Va., a daughter of the late Thomas B. and Sarah Landis Burke Hinzman. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Patricia Young; one sister, Irene Yoakum and three brothers, Larry, Jewel and Carl Hinzman.

She is survived by five sons, Randall Orsburn and wife Deborah of Tallmansville, W.Va., Harrison Orsburn, Jr., and wife Terri of East Ridge, Tenn., Thomas Orsburn and wife Debra and Kenneth Orsburn and wife Carla all of Tallmansville and Joseph Orsburn of Buckhannon; two daughters, Iris Hodges and husband Ernie of Pfafftown, N.C. and Beth Orsburn of Tallmansville; nineteen grandchildren; twenty-eight great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; two sisters, Leona Champ of Burghill, Ohio and Wilda Bennett of Buckhannon and two brothers, Arnold Hinzman of Buckhannon and Ronald Hinzman of Excelsior, W.Va.

Mrs. Orsburn was a Sales Clerk. She attended Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church. After the death of her daughter Patty, she raised her children Melanie and Shane Young. She loved her family and was proud of her heritage.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to your favorite charity. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
