Barry Wayne Beckner, age 45, of Buckhannon, WV, died Tuesday, May 5, 2026, at his home.
He was born December 18, 1980, in Buckhannon, a son of Barry C. and Doris Sharp Beckner.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by one daughter, Paisley Nicole Beckner of French Creek, WV; three sons, Brandon and Bradyn Gould, both of French Creek, and Brok Gould of Fort Campbell, KY; one sister, Michelle Howes and husband Justin of Buckhannon; one brother, Gary Beckner and wife Miley of Buckhannon; two nephews, Erik Beckner of French Creek and Cale Collier of Buckhannon; and one great-nephew, Noah Beckner of Weston, WV.
He was preceded in death by one nephew, Nathaniel Beckner.
Barry was a former rig hand in the oil and gas industry.
Friends will be received Monday, May 11, 2026, from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. (noon) at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 12 noon at the funeral home with the Rev. Wease Day officiating. Burial will follow in the Pleasant View Church Cemetery in Hodgesville, WV.
