Don’t miss the B-U Home for the Holidays event Friday evening at B-UHS

BUCKHANNON — On Friday, December 8, Buckhannon-Upshur High School will host a major holiday performance from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., with doors opening at 5 p.m.

The B-U Home for the Holidays event will feature performances from various groups, including the B-U Choir, Soundwaves, Concert Band, Jazz Band, Small Ensembles, and choirs from Washington District, Tennerton, Buckhannon Academy, Hodgesville, and Union elementary schools, along with the Buckhannon Community Band.

In addition to musical performances, the event will include vendor stalls selling Christmas gifts, opportunities for photographs with Santa Claus, and various fundraising activities such as silent auctions and 50/50 raffles. This event is a key fundraiser for the Upshur County Schools’ fine arts departments.

B-U Home for the Holidays will be held in the B-UHS auditorium. Admission is $7.
