Debra Sue Riffle

Debra Sue Riffle, 63, of Buckhannon, W.Va. died Monday, September 7, 2020, at UPMC Presbyterian in Pittsburgh, Pa.

She was born November 6, 1956, in Hacker Valley, W.Va., a daughter of the late Ernest A. and Rella G. Harper Hinkle.

On June 21, 1975, she married John Riffle who survives. She is also survived by one daughter, Virginia K. Sarver and husband Jeffrey J. of Maple Ave in Grafton, WV; one son John Riffle, II and companion Caleb Roberts of Buckhannon; three granddaughters, Brittany C. Brown and husband Michael of Shinnston, W.Va., Savannah P. Black of Grafton and Madison Shipley of Buckhannon; one grandson, Joseph “Hobo” Black and companion Tanya Roy of Rock Cave, W.Va.; two great granddaughters, Arianna Landis of French Creek, W.Va. and Aubriella S. Friend of Grafton; two great grandsons, Michael J. “Baby James” and Nicholas K Brown both of Shinnston and her beloved grand dog, Sampson.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one grandson, William Black.

Mrs. Riffle was a homemaker and a Seventh Day Adventist. She loved to craft and camp with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Mrs. Riffle had a wonderful and kind heart.

Friends will be received Saturday, September 12, 2020, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home with Pastor Rick Cutright officiating. Burial will follow in the Upshur County Memorial Park in Tennerton, W.Va.
