Debra Kay Zickefoose

Debra Kay Zickefoose, 58, of Buckhannon, W.Va. died Saturday May 18, 2019, at her home.

She was born September 24, 1960, in Buckhannon, a daughter of the late Bailey Jeral and Genevieve Kirby Zickefoose.

Surviving are two sons, Michael Hunt and wife Lisa of Belington, WV and Joshua Zickefoose of Buckhannon; one daughter, Amanda Hunt and Julio Rocha of Bridgeport, W.Va.; four grandsons, Trentyn Harris of Belington, Bryce Moran of Buckhannon and Gabriel Moran and Mateo Rocha both of Bridgeport; one granddaughter, Payton Zickefoose of Buckhannon; two brothers, Bailey Gerald Zickefoose and Cindy Swecker of Elkins, W.Va. and Gregory Zickefoose of Queens, W.Va. and one sister, Kathy Crites and husband Kirk of Queens.

Mrs. Zickefoose served in the U.S. Army from Feb. 15, 1985, to Feb. 14, 1989, and then in the U.S. Army Reserves from June 2, 1998, to June 2, 2000.

Debra was a member of the Queens Historical Society. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
