Danny Franklin Perry

Danny Franklin Perry, age 63, of Buckhannon, WV, died Wednesday, April 17, 2024, at United Hospital Center in Bridgeport, WV.

He was born March 23, 1961, in Buckhannon, WV, a son of the late Clifford and Grace Bird Perry. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Debbie Perry; one grandson, Jonathan Perry; one brother, Derry Perry and four sisters, Anna Lee Bennett, Marvilene Cosner, Carlyn Cowan and Karen Sue George.

He is survived by his companion, Trish Bennett of Buckhannon; one son, Timmy Perry and wife Erin of Buckhannon; one grandson, Andrew Perry of Buckhannon; three brothers, Jim Perry and wife Connie of Buckhannon, Roger Perry and wife Donnie of Buckhannon and Kenny Perry and wife Teresa of Clarksburg, WV; one sister, Sandy Davis and husband Bob of Buckhannon and several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Perry was a yard attendant for the equipment division of the West Virginia Department of Highways. When he wasn’t hard at work, Danny loved the outdoors – primarily spending his time hunting, camping, and riding his motorcycle.

Friends will be received Monday, April 22, 2024, from 11 AM to 3 PM at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held 3 PM Monday at the funeral home with Pastor Ed Lowther officiating. Burial will follow in the Heavner Cemetery in Buckhannon.
