County hiring lifeguards and other summer workers for Upshur Co. pool — apply now

The Office of the Upshur County Commission is accepting applications for the following positions: lifeguards, admission workers, concession stand workers and an assistant manager for the 2019 park season, beginning mid-May and continuing through mid-August.

Individuals who worked at the park facility during the previous season(s) and have returned the notification of intent to work letter do not need to complete an application unless he or she is interested in an assistant manager position.

Lifeguards must be certified with CPR and First Aid endorsements and concession stand workers must have a valid WV Food Handlers Card. Applicants with current certifications will be given preference. Reimbursements of required certifications will be made to employees that are available and complete the 2019 season.

Interested individuals may obtain an application from the Office of the Upshur County Commission located at the Upshur County Administrative Annex located at 91 West Main Street, Suite 101, during the normal business hours of 8:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday or online at http://www.upshurcounty.org/Application%202017.pdf.

Completed applications must be returned to the Office of the Upshur County Commission on or before the close of business on Friday, April 26, 2019:
