Countdown to the crown: 2022 Miss West Virginia USA, Miss W.Va. Teen USA pageants to return to Buckhannon June 3-5

Buckhannon, WV, June 1, 2022 – Pageant Associates is excited to announce that the 2022 MISS WEST VIRGINIA USA® and MISS WEST VIRGINIA TEEN USA® pageants will be held June 3, 4, & 5, 2022 in Buckhannon, WV. The pageants are the official preliminaries to the national MISS USA® and the national MISS TEEN USA® pageants.

All pageant activities will take place at the Virginia Thomas Law Center for the Performing Arts on the campus of West Virginia Wesleyan College. Tickets for the competition may be purchased at https://www.tix.com/ticket-sales/misswestvirginiausa/4220 or at the auditorium Box Office throughout the weekend.

“Pageant Associates is thrilled to showcase the individuality, commitment to excellence, aspirations and unique beauty found among the young women of West Virginia,” said State Pageant Director, Randy Sanders.  “Our organization is proud to produce the MISS WEST VIRGINIA USA and MISS WEST VIRGINIA TEEN USA pageants, and we look forward to honoring the confident young women whose motivation and dedication are represented in their journey to the crown.”

Contestants will be judged in three equal categories consisting of Personal Interview; Swimsuit for MISS and Active Wear for TEEN; and Evening Gown. The preliminary swimsuit/activewear and evening gown competitions will be held on Saturday (6/4) at 7:30 PM. The final competition will be held on Sunday (6/5) at 3:00 PM.

A special Red-Carpet Reception is being held at the Buckhannon Opera House on Main Street and will take place at 9:15 PM Saturday, (6/4).  This is an RSVP event and tickets are limited.  For information, you must email coordinator@pageantassociates.com.  No phone calls regarding this event will be accepted.

Pageant Associates works closely with each applicant to ensure that, should they win the state pageant, they are eligible to move on to the Miss USA or Miss Teen USA pageant without question.
