SOUTH CHARLESTON, W.Va. – The 2018-19 Hunting and Trapping Regulations brochure published in July include inaccurate dates for the antlerless deer season at two West Virginia wildlife management areas.

The correct dates for antlerless deer hunting at Stonecoal Lake and Stonewall Jackson Lake WMAs are Nov. 19 – Dec. 1, Dec. 6-9 and Dec. 28-31, 2018.

Stephen David Randall

Stephen David Randall, 77, of Buckhannon, passed away on August 20, 2026. A licensed captain and lifelong adventurer, he was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, sailor, and entrepreneur. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 12, at Wesley Chapel.
