Community Care of West Virginia (CCWV) has been recognized among the nation’s highest-performing health centers, earning seven Community Health Quality Recognition and Compliance badges from the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) for 2026.
Leading the honors is the prestigious Gold Health Center Quality Leader award, which places Community Care in the top 10 percent of health centers nationwide for overall quality. The distinction reflects CCWV’s commitment to delivering exceptional, patient-centered care and achieving outstanding health outcomes, further solidifying its reputation as one of West Virginia’s leading healthcare providers.
In addition to the Gold Health Center Quality Leader award, Community Care received national recognition in the following areas:
- National Quality Leader in Behavioral Health
- National Quality Leader in Heart Health
- National Quality Leader in Diabetes Health
- Preventive Health
- Advancing Health IT for Quality
- Operational Site Visit
These awards highlight Community Care’s dedication to clinical excellence across a wide range of services. The HRSA Community Health Quality Recognition and Compliance program annually honors health centers that demonstrate full compliance with Health Center Program requirements and excellence in improving patient outcomes, expanding access to care, advancing health equity and delivering high-quality healthcare.
