BUCKHANNON – Buckhannon-Upshur Chamber of Commerce members toured the ongoing renovations of the Colonial Arts Center on Main Street just before the holidays.

The center will feature a multi-purpose main space on the first floor, with a second theater area upstairs. The second floor also has office space available. The basement will house offices, practice rooms and a space for teaching, as well as a kitchen and green room.

Care has been taken to sound-proof the performance spaces so that multiple events can go on simultaneously. Once completed, the center will bring regular art shows, youth art programs, theater performances and more to Main Street in Buckhannon.
