The City of Buckhannon Water Department will begin flushing fire hydrants on Monday, April 22 and continue each workday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. throughout the city water system until complete.
This does not include the public service districts.

Willard J. Scott, 89, of Buckhannon, died March 19, 2026, at Crestview Manor in Jane Lew. He was a retired coal miner who enjoyed hunting and fishing.
