CEC Summer Basketball League kicks off week three

TENNERTONAction rolled on in the 2023 CEC Upshur County Summer Basketball League as they wrapped up week two play with three games on Friday and started week three on Monday with a trio of games.

On Friday, TLM Management won a pair of games, beating Sam’s Pizza 79-62 and Jenkins Automotive by a 94-69 score.

Isaac Walker led TLM Management in scoring in both games with 19 against Sam’s Pizza and 29 against Jenkins Automotive. Bryson Lucas and Josiah Bailey also had 19 for TLM Management in their win against Sam’s Pizza.

Ian Strader of Sam’s Pizza had a team-high 18 points in their loss while Connor Gower had 26 of Jenkins Automotive’s 69 points in their setback.

In the other game on Friday, Jenkins Automotive beat AMTC by a 74-62 score.

Gower led Jenkins Automotive with 22 points, while Chris Confere paced AMTC with 18 points.

On Monday, On Point Athletics won a pair of games, defeating CPImagery 82-40 and Sweet-A-Licious 87-34.

Donovan Wiles and Elliot White each had 18 to lead On Point Athletics against CPImagery, while CPImagery was paced by Tanner Collins’ 12 points.

White had a game-high 24 points in their win against Sweet-A-Licious while Sweet-A-Licious was led by Jacob Frye’s seven points.

In the other game on Friday, CPImagery downed Sweet-A-Licious for their first win by a 59-50 score.

Casey Oleksa scored a team-high 18 points for CPImagery while Brody McDaniels had a game-high 31 points for Sweet-A-Licious.
