BUCKHANNON — Buckhannon Toyota donated $5,000 Saturday for the Buckhannon-Upshur High School Girls’ Softball ‘Field of Dreams.’

Committee chairman Brett Robinson said the generous donation brings the total funds collected for phase I to 80 percent.

Those gathered for the presentation included, from left, B-UMS softball players Alyssa Abel and Katarah Linger, who will be some of the first players on the field when completed; Buckhannon Toyota General Manager Kip Cottrill; Robinson; and Buckhannon-Upshur High School Softball Coach Levi Bender.
