Buckhannon Fire Department choses First Community Bank Pumpkin Decorating Contest winner

BUCKHANNON – Buckhannon Fire Chief JB Kimble had the honor of choosing the First Community Bank Halloween Pumpkin Decorating Contest winner on Tuesday morning.

The pumpkins were decorated by the friendly staff from various FCB departments:

  • Frankenstein was created by the Personal Banking Department.
  • Hear No Evil, See No Evil, Speak No Evil was created by the Drive Thru staff.
  • The Spooky Bat was created by the FCB Loan Department.

FCB Branch Manager Karen Knabenshue expressed to My Buckhannon that since COVID, First Community Bank has enjoyed the participation of special local guests to appear as judges to the contest. This year, that tough decision of the winning pumpkin was in the hands of Buckhannon Fire Department Fire Chief JB Kimble.

Last, but certainly not least, the winning pumpkin: Frankenstein! This pumpkin was created by the FCB Personal Banking Department.
