Buckhannon Community Theatre announces auditions for Mamma Mia!

Buckhannon Community Theatre is thrilled to announce auditions for its upcoming production of Mamma Mia!, the high-energy musical featuring the unforgettable hits of ABBA. Performers who are outgoing high school freshmen and older are encouraged to audition and bring this beloved production to life on stage.

Audition Dates & Times:

  • April 27 & 28 | 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM
  • Callbacks (by invitation): May 1
  • Location: Chapel Hill United Methodist Church, Engle Hall

All auditionees should be prepared to stay for the entire audition session. Participants are encouraged to wear or bring appropriate attire for the dance portion of the audition.

Audition Schedule:

  • 6:00 – 7:00 PM – Registration & Music Auditions
  • 7:00 – 8:00 PM – Scene Work & Readings
  • 8:00 – 9:00 PM – Dance Auditions

How to Prepare:

Auditionees should prepare the following song(s) based on the character they wish to audition for:

  • Tanya – Does Your Mother Know
  • Ali/Lisa – Honey, Honey
  • Sophie – I Have a Dream
  • Sky – Lay All Your Love on Me
  • Rosie – Take a Chance on Me
  • Sam, Bill, Harry/Ensemble – Thank You for the Music
  • Donna – The Winner Takes It All
