Ritchie Street in Buckhannon will have a one-lane closure starting Thursday, Feb. 26, as a Mountaineer Gas subcontractor begins infrastructure work. The closure runs from Fayette Street to Tucker Street for about two weeks.

Morehead State University’s SpaceTrek, partnered with TMC Technologies, is launching its second year and moving to West Virginia Wesleyan College in Buckhannon. The residential space systems program for young women will run July 12–25, 2026, backed by a $3.98 million ARC ARISE grant.
