Buckhannon coalition readies free summer backpacks for unhoused neighbors

The Homeless and Housing Coalition of Upshur County, supported by local organizations, is distributing free backpacks filled with essential summer supplies and a meal to unhoused residents at Holy Rosary Catholic Church on Wednesday afternoon.

The Homeless and Housing Coalition of Upshur County has collected essential summer supplies to fill backpacks for neighbors experiencing houselessness. The backpacks will be available free of charge at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Buckhannon on Wednesday.
