Brian Mikel Hardy

Brian Mikel Hardy, age 47, of Buckhannon, WV, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, February 11, 2024, at his home.

He was born April 25, 1976, in Charleston, WV, a son of Connie Sue Hardy of Pinellas Park, FL, and the late Mikel Hardy.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Sherry Walsh Hardy of Buckhannon; one daughter, Emma Lynn Hardy of Buckhannon; stepmother, Emily Hardy of WV; one sister, Leigh Ann Plumley and husband Tim of Monroe, NC; two half-brothers, Dan and Tanner Hardy both of Montgomery, WV; sister-in-law, Cindy Bell of Lost Creek, WV; brother-in-law, Matthew Walsh and wife Tara of Beaver Island, MI; three nephews, Jeremy Bell of Lost Creek, Camden Walsh of Pittsburgh, PA and Tristan Plumley of Monroe; six nieces, Jessica Bell of Lost Creek, Violet Walsh of Beaver Island, Jessica Hornsby and husband Travis, Haley Plumley of Monroe, Anna Plumley of Monroe, and Mia Plumley of Monroe; great niece, Kenley Chapman of Weston, WV and his beloved dogs, Quinn and Sally.

Mr. Hardy was a Christian by faith and a Fabricator/Welder by trade. In his spare time, he enjoyed building, collecting, and riding dirt bikes. Brian loved spending time with his daughter and also enjoyed making people laugh.

Friends will be received Saturday, February 17, 2024, from 12 Noon until 2 PM at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held 2 PM Saturday at the funeral home with Pastor Mark Greaver officiating.
