Bonnie Marie Clark

Bonnie Marie Clark, age 76, of Buckhannon, passed away Saturday, June 15, 2024, at J. W. Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown. She had been under the wonderful care of WVU Hospice.

She was born on November 30, 1947, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, a daughter of the late Thomas and Eileen Reingrover Jewell. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a very special niece Tammy Eagle.

She is survived by two daughters: Kellie Woody-Hyre and husband Jeff, and Melanie Shreve and husband Robert “Bubba” both of Buckhannon; five grandchildren: Tyler Shreve, Dalton Hyre and wife Taylor, Coleman Shreve, Mason Hyre, and Briston Hyre; one brother Thomas Jewell, Jr. of Buckhannon; one sister Bobbi Rae “Babe” Burt of Washington, PA; and nephews Devon and Nathan Demko.

Bonnie was an avid crafter and enjoyed reading. She provided childcare in her home for over 20 years while she raised her daughters. She met so many wonderful families and made lifelong friends during this time. Later she worked for WVWC as a security guard which led to her employment with the FBI’s CJIS division in Clarksburg. She retired as an FBI police officer; a job she loved almost as much as the wonderful people she met while she worked there.

Bonnie will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

She will be cremated, and a private memorial will be held at her request.

Online condolences may be extended to the family at www.heavnerandcutright.com. The family entrusted the Heavner & Cutright Funeral Chapel and Cremation Service with the arrangements.
