Loretta June Reed, 79, of Tallmansville, WV, died April 5, 2026, at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Buckhannon. She was a machine operator at Moore Business Forms and is survived by her husband, children, and grandchildren.
Phay Edward Tenney, II, 71, of Buckhannon, WV, died April 5, 2026, at his home. He worked 27 years at Union Drilling, owned T&T Gun Shop, and was a member of First Baptist Church of Buckhannon.

West Virginia Wesleyan swept West Virginia State 6-5 and 8-2 in a Mountain East Conference doubleheader at Hank Ellis Field. The Bobcats stormed back with a four-run fifth to win the opener, then jumped ahead with a five-run first and cruised in Game 2.
