BUCKHANNON — Buckhannon-Upshur High School claimed both top individual swimming awards as the Big 10 released the 2022-23 All-Conference teams this week.

Cadence Vincent was selected as the Girls Swimmer of the Year, while Preston Bennett was named the Boys Swimmer of the Year.

Both B-U seniors are headed to states this weekend after a record-breaking performance at the Region 3 meet. Bennett, meanwhile, will compete in the 200 free, 500 free, 200-yard medley relay and 200-yard free relay.
