B-U baseball to sponsor third annual golf scramble

PHILIPPI – The Buckhannon-Upshur Buccaneer baseball team will sponsor their third annual golf scramble at the Barbour County Country Club.

The scramble will be sponsored by Buckhannon Toyota and will be held on May 21.

Registration will begin at 10 a.m. and the scramble will start at 11 a.m.

The entry fee is $60 per golfer and includes green fee, cart rental and lunch.

The team is offering a $100 hole sponsorship that includes sign/advertisement at hole, acknowledgement at the event and social media/news outlets.

They are also offering a $300 package deal that includes a four-man/woman team plus hole sponsorship.

Awards will be given to the top three teams along with door prizes, specialty awards, skin games and a 50/50.
