Applicants sought for Upshur County Prosecuting Attorney appointment

REQUEST FOR APPLICANTS
APPOINTMENT – UPSHUR COUNTY PROSECUTING ATTORNEY

The Upshur County Commission is seeking resumes and letters of interest from qualified applicants for consideration to the appointment of Upshur County Prosecuting Attorney.  Pursuant to West Virginia Election Code, applicants must be at least 18 years of age, residing in West Virginia, registered Republicans admitted to practice law in the State of West Virginia by the date of appointment.

Resumes and letters of interest must be submitted to the Commission Office, located at the address listed below, by 4:30 pm on November 6, 2019.

Interviews will be held on November 14, 2019 and a decision is expected during the regularly scheduled Commission Meeting on November 21, 2019.   The appointment will be effective December 1, 2019 through the end of the current term on December 31, 2020.
